Portrait of Imtiaz Kausar – A legacy of compassion and community service

The Imtiaz Kausar Memorial Foundation (IKMF) was born not just from grief, but from a profound desire to transform sorrow into service. Founded in 2022 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Mian Rohail Aslam, IKMF stands as a living tribute to the life, values, and compassion of his late mother, Imtiaz Kausar, who passed away in June of the same year.

Who Was Imtiaz Kausar?

Imtiaz Kausar may not have been a public figure, but her legacy runs deep. Known for her humility, quiet strength, and generous heart, she was always ready to help—whether it was supporting a neighbor in need, funding education for underprivileged children, or preparing meals for the hungry. She lived by the belief that no one should go to bed hungry or be denied opportunities because of poverty.

From Personal Grief to Public Good

Following her passing, her son, Mian Rohail Aslam, founded IKMF not just as a memorial but as a continuation of her spirit and life philosophy. It is rooted in the same values she championed: compassion, dignity, and upliftment.

What began as a personal initiative has now grown into a formalized welfare organization—with a dedicated team, structured programs, and an ever-increasing community impact.

Today, IKMF:

  • Provides shelter and education to orphan girls
  • Installs clean water systems in underserved communities
  • Empowers families with small business grants
  • Distributes food and Zakat during critical periods like Ramadan

The foundation is a shining example of how love and kindness can be multiplied across communities—and how one woman’s quiet acts of goodness have blossomed into a movement of hope and transformation.
